HellGrind follows a relentless force of conquerors moving from system to system in search of energy to fuel their home world. When the Acheron detects a powerful signal in nearby space, it changes course and arrives at Cerberus, a dangerous planet rich with the resources they need.
But Cerberus is not empty. Life exists on the surface, and whatever is down there is ready to defend its territory. Probes are deployed, landing zones are chosen, and squads are loaded into Corehound dropships for descent. You are part of Omega Squad, joining the ground operation as the first wave pushes into the unknown.
Cerberus is hostile, unstable and crawling with threats. Every movement forward feels like an intrusion into territory you were never meant to enter, and every new corridor, cavern or landing zone could become a kill zone without warning.
The first alien race encountered on the surface becomes known as the Skitters. Fast, aggressive and swarming in numbers, they turn a resource operation into a full combat deployment, forcing squads to fight hard for every step deeper into the planet.
The Acheron locks onto a powerful energy signature coming from the Geryon System. Long-range scans confirm Cerberus as the source, and the order is given to investigate and prepare for acquisition.
Probes descend first to assess environmental risk and identify a viable landing zone. Once a route is confirmed, squads board Corehound dropships and deploy to the surface under combat-ready conditions.
Omega Squad encounters native resistance almost immediately. The Skitters hit fast, force close-range engagements and turn the operation into a desperate push through hostile ground.
